About IPOC - Insurance Professionals of Orange County

Our Mission:

 

International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) and our local chapter - Insurance Professionals of Orange County (IPOC ) - serves its members by providing professional education and an environment in which to build business alliances and the opportunity to make connections with people of differing career paths and levels of experience within the insurance industry.

 

  • IAIP-IPOC's membership is open to all insurance professionals and risk management industries who strive for and practice professionalism, regardless of their career level.

  • IAIP-IPOC) fosters and encourages diversity, offering a network for members in all career categories, all lines of insurance and all cultural and diverse backgrounds.

  • IAIP-IPOC promotes mentoring, acceptance of change, personal growth and flexibility of participation.

  • IAIP-IPOC's governance and the operational management exist to enable the association to carry out it's mission

 

We meet on the 1st Wednesday of every month at the Doubletree Club Hotel - 7 Hutton Centre Drive, Santa Ana,CA 92707

Members and guests are welcome.  Our business meetings include: Networking, Speakers, Education, Community Service Projects - all for the cost of dinner.

 

Membership

IAIP-IPOC promotes membership diversity by career levels and functions. Members work in every facet of the industry – as agents or brokers, adjusters, underwriters, claims professionals, risk managers, producers, insurance educators, customer service representatives, agency owners and automation specialists. IAIP-IPOC Structure

IAIP-IPOC's  organizational structure consists of four levels, in addition to the individual member, spanning the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, England, Virgin Islands, Australia, Africa, Kuwait, India and Mongolia. Each level conducts meetings, elects officers, appoints committees and provides numerous opportunities for involvement and leadership.  Region VII incorporates several west coast state associations.

Education

IAIP-IPOC publishes a variety of educational programs designed to provide training in personal and professional development, as well as continuing education.

 

Designations

IAIP-IPOC offers its own professional designations: CPIW/M (Certified Professional Insurance Woman/Man), CIIP (Certified International Insurance Professional,  CLP )Certified Leadership Professional) and DAE (Diversified Advanced Education)

 

Leadership

IAIP-IPOC is known for providing a forum for the development of leadership skills for our members and the industry.

 

Partnering

IAIP-IPOC  develops business relationships with other organizations and associations that are mutually beneficial.

 

Technology

IAIP-IPOC optimizes the use of technology to improve quality or service, increase productivity, maximum membership benefits and increase visibility in the industry.

 

IAIP-IPOC Headquarters
